Rooted In Magick, Crafted in Soul.

Handmade Jewelry, Art, Magical Objects & Books, crafted just outside of Bozeman, Montana.

Inspired by the beauty of nature and the mystery of the stars. What I make comes from the same source — the wild places, the in-between moments, the magick I feel in all living things. Whether you're drawn to something to wear, something to hang, something to hold, or something to read, trust what calls to you. What you need will find you.

The jewelry I make is a form of remembering. A way to feel empowered and beautiful. Each piece is handcrafted with care, guided by the shape and story of the stone. When people say "there's so many to choose from" I always say, "let yourself be drawn to what speaks to you."

My paintings and photographs come from the in-between places, the dreaming. Awake in a dream, each piece is channeled from my imagination, shaped by my connection to spirit and the magick I feel in all things. I don't always know what will come through. I just listen and follow.

The ritual objects I create carry intention. They are made with what's known as sympathetic magic — the belief that something can hold the essence of what it represents. A carved piece of antler might carry the memory of the forest. A bundle of herbs might hold a prayer. Each item has its own energy and purpose.

The stories I write come from my life. From the losses I've lived through. From the healing I've found. From the long walk back to my own soul. The Grief Tree is one of those stories — a companion for anyone standing at the edge of loss, unsure how to keep walking. My books aren't just words. They are invitations. Reminders. Companions for the thresholds we all face.

Everything here comes from the same wild source. The grief. The wonder. The return.

Hi, I'm Aimee Traeden.

I'm the maker, the seer, the dreamer behind all of this.

I'm a lover of nature, mysticism, and all things magick. I live just outside of Bozeman, Montana, on the ancestral lands of the Crow, Northern Cheyenne, and Blackfeet peoples, surrounded by wilderness that feeds everything I make. I share my days with three beloved dogs — two wild and wonderful Malamutes and one wise little Lundehund who's been with me for over a decade.

I have been painting and writing stories ever since I can remember. Art in all its forms has always been my native language. As a little girl of about eight, I won an award in a contest called Reflections — and something about that moment confirmed what I already felt in my bones. That making things mattered. That imagination was its own kind of language.

My mother introduced me to astrology, rocks and minerals, and tarot when I was thirteen. That same year, I earned a certificate in crystal healing. My father was an art gallery owner and collector, and our home was filled with beauty and wonder. That environment shaped me. It taught me how powerful art can be. How it can open a door.

I studied Book Arts, Painting, and Ceramics — including time at the Oregon College of Art and Craft, a school known for its devotion to craft as a living practice. I believe the earth herself is always painting, and my photography is my attempt to witness that — to catch the moments where light, land, and water tell a story no human hand could plan.

My journey with jewelry began in 1983, when I was eleven years old and first picked up a pair of pliers, some wire, and a handful of big fake pearls. I wore an '80s flat top back then, and earrings the size of my head. Even then, I knew jewelry wasn't just decoration. It was power. It was expression. That knowing has never left me, and it runs through everything I make — whether it's a piece to wear, a painting to hang, an object to hold, or a story to carry with you.

I am also a Ritualist rooted in my cross-cultural lineage of Nordic Shamanism and Celtic Animism. My work is a blend of the seen and unseen. I believe that everything carries spirit, and that the way we create matters. Every piece I make — every painting, photograph, ritual object, and book — is filled with meaning, offered with care, intention, and a deep love for the magick in all things.
